Saturday 28 November · Gold Coast
Saturday 28 November, Burleigh Heads. You bring the question you've been sitting on all year. You leave with your purpose said out loud, a plan for 2027, and the structure wealthy families have used for generations to keep it theirs.
That's the promise, and the whole afternoon is built around it. No scripts, no suits, and nobody telling you what to do with your life. Just the people who've done it, and the room to work it out.

Between now and 26 January, 100 more of us take a real step towards free. Whatever free looks like for you, this afternoon could be the day you take yours.
You'll walk out with
New to this? Start here.
The one most of our members use is an unincorporated association. It's the same kind of structure your local footy club has run on for generations. A group of people, a written rulebook, a bank account, and the members run it. No company to register.
The afternoon
Tahlia takes the room through it. Quiet, honest, and it lands. This is the heart of the day.
Members from around the country share what it was really like, plus short sessions from our guest speakers.
From where you are right now to a private structure that fits your life. Step by step, on paper.
Your next steps, locked in. Then a first look at Free: The 2027 Sprint, starting 11 January.
On stage

Founder of The Living Council. Mum of four who loves her camera. Tahlia leads the whole afternoon, from your purpose right through to your plan.
Two or three in all, woven through the afternoon. Someone living it, on stage with Tahlia, and a short practical session you'll take home.
Everyday members from right around Australia, on stage together, talking about what it was really like. The nerves, the bank, the paperwork, and life after.
And the team, in the room with you.

Real people. Real members.
Removing the fear. Absolutely. I wouldn't have done this on my own. I wouldn't even know where to start.Vic P · Building estimator, South Australia · TLC member
This is a members' meetup on the Gold Coast. Nobody in a suit. Every one of them was sitting where you are now, not long ago. On the 28th the room is bigger, and you're in it.
Straight up
There's a Christian thread running through the afternoon, because that's who we are. You don't need to share our faith to belong in this room. Everyone's welcome, exactly as they are.
Tickets
Every ticket is two seats. Bring your partner, your sister, the mate who keeps asking you about all this. Their seat's on us. Or go halves with them and you've both paid less than a dinner out.
The practical stuff
No. Most people in the room will be new to this. If you want a head start, come to Free: The Conversation online on 5 November first.
We're run by Christians, and there's a Christian thread through the day. But it isn't only for Christians. Everyone's welcome.
No. Members and non-members are both welcome. Most of the room will be people who are still working out whether any of this is for them.
Unincorporated associations have been around in Australia for generations. Footy clubs, church groups, community groups. On the day we'll show you how they work, who they suit, and what still gets lodged every year.
The team will be there if you want to start your own structure on the day. Nobody's going to chase you around the room.
Tickets aren't refundable, but you can pass yours to someone else up to 48 hours before the event. Just let us know their name.
Babes in arms are welcome. Otherwise it's a grown-ups afternoon, so it's a good one to organise a sitter for.
Free: The Conversation. Online panel, Thursday 5 November, 7pm QLD.
